uORIGINAL NOVEL CONCEPT IN IRREGULAR PITCH DRUMv
Irregular Pitch Drum is something developed on a very unique concept.
Conventionally, the winding groove is layed out in the same number of pitchesbetween the go-groove and the return-groove, thus, making critical ribbonning (patterning) zones at certain package diameters.
However, making the number of pitches different between the go-groove and thereturn-groove, as introdeced by our original concept, we succeeded in making thesize of these critical ribbonning zones drastically small and avoid yarn breakagesin unwinding at the subsequent processes such as warping, wefting and knitting.
Futhermore, having the number of the return-groove pitches greater than that of thego-groove pitches, the packages produced with our Irregular Pitch Drums are madepossible to be unwound at a high speed due to less unwinding resistance.
